Waist
1. Waist: With the pant spread out on a flat surface, measure the width of the waistband from end to end, starting with the tape firmly tucked INSIDE one end of the folded waistband.
Take the measurement you get & multiply by 2. |
 |
Seat
2. Seat: Measure straight across the front of the pant from the left edge of the fly to the side seam of the pant, where the bottom of the pocket meets the seam. Be sure that any pleats lay closed and flat. Flip the pant over and measure the back panel from the same spot at the bottom of the pocket to the center back seam.
Add the two measurements together, then multiply by 2. |

Thigh, Knee and Bottom
3. Thigh: Move the top pant leg out of your way, and measure across the crotch on the bottom leg from end to end.
4. Knee: Fold up the pant six inches from the bottom, then fold again so that the bottom is up at the crotch. Measure across the folded point.
5. Bottom: Measure across the bottom of the leg with approximately 6" folded up at the bottom. |
